Inspiration for this project came from the reuse of old industry buildings around our city centers; mixing the old with the new. We wanted to incorporate an industrial look as the house sits close to the new light rail station connected it to the city centers. we are honoring true Colorado living by incorporating cozy outdoor spaces and plenty of windows for natural light. We are "popping the top" on this home creating an entire second story and rooftop deck. The topography of this area elevates the property with a perfect view of the Denver city skyline. We are going to leave the structural beams we use to support the second story exposed in this home highlighting the industrial materials. Design will be minimalist with industrial accents and bold dark cabinets. Currently the home sits in the Sunnyside neighborhood of Denver, Colorado at 685 sqaure feet and has 1 full bath, 2 true bedrooms. The new home will be over 2,000 sqaure feet with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. Stay tuned!
